About Us Management Team Steve Weedon, CEO Steve Weedon is the CEO of Static Control Components (Europe) Limited, which he established in 1994. Steve has 25 years of extensive experience in the imaging industry, having previously worked for OEMs such as Nashua and Infotec. He went on to establish the Europe subsidiary of Katun, the world's largest independent distributor of copier components. While with Katun he was Senior Vice President responsible for European Operations until 1990. He was Sales Director for drum manufacturer GBL for two years before establishing the Recycler magazine in Europe in 1992. John Marshall, General Manager Technical Services John Marshall has over 20 years of experience of developing toner products for the imaging industry. As a graduate of the Royal Institute of Chemistry, and with a Masters of Science in Colloids and Surface Chemistry, John previously worked for Coates Toners where he was responsible for all laser printer and copier toner development for both OEM customers and the aftermarket. In 2000, John joined Static Control to head up the Technical Services department which is responsible for quality control, system development and testing, as well as technical support for customers in Europe. Neil Head, General Manager Finance Neil Head's career in accountancy brought him to Static Control in 2002. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1990, Neil worked as an auditor with Coopers and Lybrand before joining Warner Lambert where he worked in internal audit, financial accounting and treasury management. His nine years with Warner Lambert saw their acquisition by the pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and he oversaw the merger of the two companies' treasury functions. Neil directs the Finance and Credit Control functions at Static Control, as well as Inventory Planning and Management. Stewart Bird, General Manager Operations As General Manager of Operations for Static Control Components (Europe) Ltd, Stewart Bird is responsible for overseeing all warehouse and logistics functions whilst enhancing efficiencies, accuracy and service levels to our customers. Stewart has extensive experience of managing distribution and logistics functions, working with companies such as J Sainsbury and M&S. Prior to joining Static Control, he spent 15 years at Katun as Warehouse Manager then progressing to UK Site Manager/Assistant VP of Operations, holding sole responsibility for warehouse and office operations in the UK/Europe and the Far East.
