Cartridges used by the Dell® Color Laser 3110 and Color Laser Multifunction 3115 printers do not have drum shutters, making them susceptible to OPC damage during storage and shipping. OEM replacement cartridges ship with protectors covering the OPC to protect it from light and physical damage, but empty cores received by remanufacturers rarely have these included.
Static Control® offers replacement shipping protectors specifically designed for use with Dell 3110 and related cartridges that protects the drum from damage caused during shipping and storage. No special instructions are necessary – the “snap on" design makes installation quick and simple. Available in packs of 10 each.
Note: Not qualified for use in Dell 3130 and Xerox® 6180 printers.
