Cartridges used by the Dell® Color Laser 3110 and Color Laser Multifunction 3115 printers use a two-part toner and carrier that is not premixed, but placed in separate toner hopper and a carrier housing. The two are mixed during the development process when printing occurs.
Before cartridge installation there are two seals that must be pulled to allow this mixing of toner and carrier. Both seals must be replaced during remanufacturing to prevent leakage or premature mixing of components during storage and shipping. These seals are located on the carrier housing and the toner hopper.
Static Control® offers replacement seals for the toner hopper and the carrier housing that performs like the OEM, preventing leakage from either section.
Seals are available in packs of 25 each.
Note: Not qualified for use in Dell 3130 and Xerox® 6180 printers.
