Cartridges used by the Dell® Color Laser 3110 and Color Laser Multifunction 3115 printers use a two-part toner and carrier that is not premixed, but placed in separate toner hopper and development sections. The two are mixed during the development process when printing occurs.
During remanufacturing the OEM seal covering the development chamber port must be removed for filling with the toner carrier. The OEM seal is not re-usable, but the port must be re-sealed to prevent leakage.
Static Control® offers a replacement development chamber seal that performs like the OEM, preventing carrier leakage. Available in packs of 25 each.
Note: Not qualified for use in Dell 3130 and Xerox® 6180 printers.
